Мельница используется для помола барита, кальцита, полевого шпата, талька, мрамора, известняка, керамики, извести, материалов с исходной влажностью не выше 4% и твёрдостью по шкале Мооса 5-6. Является «прародителем» мельниц серии TGM и YGM, основным отличием является отсутствие предохранительного узла, ролики вальцов прижимаются к помольному кольцу только за счет центробежных сил.

Перерабатываемое сырьё непрерывно и равномерно загружается в основной бункер мельницв. Под действием центробежной силы вращения вал отходит в сторону и плотно прижимается к кольцу. Загрузчик подает сырьё в пространство между валом и кольцом. При вращении вала происходит размалывание материала.

По окончании помола материал попадает в классификатор(с помощью аэролифтинг) отделяющий крупные частицы и возвращающий их на повторный помол. Мелкий порошок поступает в циклонный коллектор вместе с воздушным потоком и выдувается через выходное отверстие в виде готового продукта.
